The product details belonging to a SPIN can be retrieved in real-time by a customer's application from the SPIN Directory using Web Services. APIR® Systems provides an Application Programming Interface (API) to allow you to integrate real-time surcharge record look-up into your applications. The API is defined in a Web Services Description Language (WSDL) files. Incorporating these files into a program build allows you to develop applications that directly interrogate the SPIN Directory on-line using a straight-forward procedure call from the application code. The WSDL files define the SPIN Directory Webservice and can be used with any Webservices-compatible software development environment such as Sun Java, Microsoft .NET products and Borland Delphi.
